Final YOM 2009 Meeting

FINAL YOM MEETING YESTERDAY

Beloved Baldies! Greetings in the afterglow!!

The last committee meeting yesterday was attended by about 20 Baldies who dissected the event with most contributing their views and ending their discussion over a sumptuous biriyani dinner at the school mess.

Over all the meeting acknowledged the success of the event. Quality enhancement in several areas including music, dance, the formal segment, interaction were mentioned.

All had a chance to participate. All the issues raised were noted and will be addressed as we yearn to actively improve our quality on a continuous basis. (Yes, I have done a course by Dr Juran!)

The chair concluded by repeatedly stating that HINDSIGHT IS 20-20.

The photos were shared with the committee. The albums will be available in my office for a fortnight if you want to order copies of the photos. It will also be placed on the net.

I have just received this e-mail from Anuradha. Do anlayse and comment on it. Many valid points have been raised; several of them have already been addresed. Anuradha, you are an asset to us and you must get involved in all the alumni activities esp YOM because of your unique analytical abilities. Welcome to the core group!

I told the meeting yesterday that I have decided to lay down office now that YOM 09 is done. The reasons for this decision has already been communicated to all. Mainly: Overload.

Of course, as a Baldwinian I will always stand by the alumni, the schools and the new YOM chair and his committees.
